Led by specialist consultant orthodontists Dr Paroo Mistry and Mrs Sarah Lee, our team includes experienced dentists, an implant surgeon, hygienists, orthodontic therapists and a dedicated treatment coordinator. Together we deliver specialist‑led care with warmth, precision and a personal touch.
Paroo is a Consultant Orthodontist. She loves making people smile and will have you smiling throughout your orthodontic journey. With the highest level of orthodontic qualifications, there’s no case too complex for Paroo. Paroo loves running outdoors and trekking in the mountains Paroo sees a clear sky she is out.
Paroo is a Platinum Invisalign provider with extensive experience in cosmetic braces. She personally oversees each patient’s journey, aiming to bring joy and confidence through a beautiful smile.
Sarah is a Consultant Orthodontist. When she is not heading up the local hospital’s orthodontic department, she is straightening smiles with us at The Oakwood Clinic. In her free time Sarah likes to go jogging and read books.

Is Invisalign suitable for everyone?

How long will my Invisalign treatment take?
The duration of Invisalign treatment varies depending on the complexity of your case. Typically, treatment can take anywhere from 6 to 18 months, but our orthodontist will give you an estimated timeline during your consultation here in Oakwood.
Will Invisalign be uncomfortable?
Invisalign aligners are custom-made for your teeth, and while they may feel slightly tight or uncomfortable when you first wear them, this is normal and usually subsides within a few days. The aligners are made of smooth plastic, so they’re gentle on the inside of your mouth compared to traditional braces.
Can I eat and drink with my Invisalign aligners?
No, it’s recommended to remove your aligners when eating or drinking anything other than water. This helps prevent any staining or damage to the aligners, ensuring the best results. Invisalign aligners are removable, but should be worn for at least 22 hours every day.
How do I clean my Invisalign aligners?
To keep your aligners clean, rinse them with lukewarm water and use a toothbrush to gently clean them. Avoid using toothpaste as it can scratch the aligners. You can also use the Invisalign cleaning system or a mild soap solution.
